WP_20130713_029As a result of the mobile technology revolution that Nigeria has experienced in recent times, the Canadian government recently funded a pilot project known as ‘m-Learning‘, in order to explore the feasibility of employing mobile technology learning in Nigeria. The project which aims to see the adoption of mobile technology as a primary tool for learning, has reportedly recorded promising results in skills acquisition and self-motivated learning within a target group of young beneficiaries. The Canadian High Commission will be revealing detailed results of the pilot phase today at a special session which will also show how assistance can be provided to young Nigerians looking to build their skills, with a particular focus on Nollywood and the Nigerian entertainment industry. Please look out for updates on this initiative, as well as results of the project which we will be bringing to you as it becomes available.
