Lenovo Releases Its New Android Tablet – Yoga Tablet

Lenovo-Yoga TabletLenovo, a Chinese Technology giant unveils its new Yoga tablets  at Los Angeles. The new invention is a unique one, different from other tablets available in the market, they borrowed some inspiration from Sony’s old Xperia S tablets.

Yoga tablets runs an Android operating system, it has a thick Cylinder shape bottom/side which also has a kick-stand. The tablet can be handle in three modes, Hold (holding the tablet), Stand (erecting it on a table to watch a video) or Tilt.

Jay Parker, president of Lenovo North America, says “What we’ve found is that now you have so many devices that do different things; we started thinking why can’t we create a device that does multiple things at once.”

Analyst Frank Gillett at Forrester Research said the new Lenovo tablets are interesting examples of creative hardware innovation. But to create a “solid” customer experience the company must work to create an integrated Lenovo software experience.

The device can be use for 18 hours on a single charge, a screen display resolution of 1280 by 800, 16GB internal storage but can take an external storage of about 64GB microSD.

The prices ranges depending on the models, for the 8-inch, it costs $249 while the 10-inch goes for $299. it has both front and rear camera with 1.6 megapixel and 5 megapixel respectively. An optional Bluetooth keyboard is available for the larger model, which serves as a cover.

The device is available for sale.
