Application for qualified individuals is now open for the Nigerian Youth Merit Awards. According to the organisers, it is an award that has been designed “to recognize outstanding achievements amongst students, the youth and young entrepreneurs in Nigeria. It is structured to be the climax of a 2 day National Youth Summit. Fairness and depth of research are two specific values central to the success of the National Youth Merit award and this year is no exception, the next paragraph is a summary of the protocol involved in nomination, selection and screening of final winners. Nominations are received via online suggestions by the general public and recommendations by institutions. The Nomination through NYMA web portal is done by following this link, registering and giving a brief summary on your nominee with adequate and verifiable reasons why he/she deserves to be given this National Honour.
Collation of nominees is made through voting on the web portal and an esteemed panel of judges cutting across several sectors in Nigeria.
Final selection(s) are made by our panel of judges following strict judging criteria”
