Just after announcing to cut 4500 jobs and also hitting pause on the rollout of its BBM apps for iPhone and Android few hours after launching it on the app store and the announcement of a loss of nearly $1 billion in its second quarter, BlackBerry has reached an agreement deal to be acquired by a Toronto-based financial holdings conglomerate, Fairfax Financial Holdings, for Just $4.7 billion

BlackBerry was worth more than $100 in mid-2007 but it seems the company is crashing gradually. However, the deal has not been concluded yet.
