Earlier this week, Dell announced the arrival of its new XPS laptops at an event in New York City. These laptops have a foldable hybrid design, an ultra-high resolution screen and a 13-inch model which is similar to Lenova Yoga.
Firstly, The XPS 11 laptop is a foldable hybrid laptop, it has a keyboard with flat touch-sensitive keys that don’t move when you type similar to the Microsoft Surface Touch Cover.
Dell claims that the XPS 11 is the world’s lightest and most compact hybrid Ultrabook, it is available at 2.5 pounds and 0.59 inch thick. It has a screen size of 11.6 inch with a 2,560 x 1,440 resolution and price starts from $999.99.
The popular XPS 13 gets an upgrade to fourth-generation Intel Core processors (“Haswell”), a full HD (1,920 x 1,080) touchscreen display and longer battery life (up to 10.5 hours). The new XPS 13 price starts from $999.99.
Lastly, the XPS 15 which is referred to as the most powerful laptop ever , has a screen resolution of 3,200 x 1,800. Its available at 4.5 pounds and 0.71 inches thick, its actually much lighter than one who will expect that size of the laptop to be. It has 500GB hard disk storage size or 512GB storage space. Price starts from $1,499.99, its basically the most expensive.
