Here comes another event organized by ISPON supported by Cross-River Governor, Senator Liyel Imoke. This event has been scheduled for October 22-23, 2013.
The theme for the event is “Software Strategies for Retooling the Workforce (SORWORK)”, which will be at the Tinapa Knowledge City, Calabar, Cross River State, Nigeria.
Delivering the Keynote address at the Conference is Prof. Tapio Varis – UNESCO Chair in Global e-learning and Chair of Professional Education on global learning environment at the Research Centre for Vocational Education, University of Tampere, Finland.
Also, speakers within the age 22-35 will be given room at the conference, this is due to the revolution in the ICT industry which is now driven mostly by this age group. Experienced industry practitioners would serve as session discussants and panelists.
The expected audience at the conference includes International/ECOWAS ICT Experts, Nigerian ICT Professionals/Engineers, Hot-Head Coders/Software-Developers, Government Policy makers from Federal and State MDAs, Lecturers and Researchers, Venture Capitalists, Students of Computer Science related courses from tertiary institutions around the federation, ICT Journalists and other stakeholders.
