‘Globalisation & the Challenges of Innovation’ has been declared has the theme of this year’s edition of the CEO FORUM NIGERIA. The event which will be taking place place on November 21, 2013, at The Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, will attract top CEOs at the event.
Every year since 2009, over 200 leading Nigeria private sector CEOs come together at The CEO FORUM NIGERIA. The FORUM seeks to achieve three major objectives, namely: Knowledge sharing, Leadership development, Networking.
- Knowledge sharing – gaining a rich array of insights and knowledge to help enhance their effectiveness and ability to create value
- Leadership development – helping to inspire and cultivate leadership skills and to positively impact the development of Nigeria
- Networking – with other participants, presenters, and panellists in a non-competitive environment to build enduring and impactful professional and personal relationships.

Businesses exist in a competitive environment and as competition intensifies and new players enter the market; maintaining a good overview of the business environment and your competitors is key to securing profitability.
Despite these barriers, the appetite for collaboration in Nigeria is above the global average. Nigerian executives are convinced that they can be more successful with innovation if they collaborate. Several companies are working at collaborating more within and outside the company and looking at ways to boost and share revenue streams generated from collaborative innovation initiatives.
The FORUM this year will feature keynote presentation, panel discussions and breakout sessions covering key sectors of the economy namely, manufacturing, oil & gas; power & infrastructure and finance. The topic will be ‘Driving Growth Through Innovation”.
An international speaker, Professor Hal Gregersen, INSEAD, will headline the Forum. Other speakers expected at the CEO FORUM include Mr. Jay Ireland, Africa CEO, General Electric, Mr. Keith Richard, CEO, Promasidor, Mrs. Ibukun Awosika, CEO, The Chair Centre and Mr. Aliko Dangote, President, Dangote Group.
