Lanre Shittu Motors has started using CNG (Compressed Natural Gas)-powered buses as airport shuttles throughout Nigeria in an effort to encourage environmentally friendly transportation. This program signifies a substantial change in the nation’s transportation industry towards sustainable mobility solutions.
The purpose of the CNG-powered buses is to lower carbon emissions while providing passengers with affordable transportation. Additionally, Nigeria’s efforts to move away from petrol and diesel-powered vehicles, which greatly increase environmental pollution, are advanced by these buses.
The new shuttles’ smoother rides, quieter cabins, and cheaper rates have won plaudits from passengers. As a sign of a larger commitment to environmentally friendly transit options, airports in Lagos, Abuja, and Port Harcourt are among the first to implement these buses.
In order to guarantee that sufficient infrastructure is in place for the smooth running of these cars, Lanre Shittu Motors has also worked with government organisations. If this project is successful, Nigeria may see a greater uptake of CNG-powered automobiles, following international trends in environmentally friendly transportation.
