FirstBank Account holders who want to open their own verified Paypal account now have a reason to smile as they can do that hassle-free, with their bank account.
In an event held in Lagos recently, Firstbank unveiled its partnership agreement with Paypal. Firstbank customers will be immediately verified, have access to more transaction limits, make and transfer money across the world. Also, Firstbank Merchants will be able to accept payments through their First Bank PayPal wallet in subsequent month.
Firstbank is the only bank Paypal has partnered with since they opened their door to the Nigerian market. The reason is not far from the fact that 30% of the bank accounts in Nigeria are First Bank accounts and First Bank accounts for more than 40 per cent of active Interswitch cards.
