Last year November, Apple’s iPad Mini went on sale. Likewise early this month Apple launched its two new iPhone (iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C) and these phones where available for sale September 20.

There are speculations that Apple will release a new set of iPad models very soon, the models have been pre-named iPad Mini 2 and iPad 5 (not yet official names).

At the last event where the two iPhones were launched, Apple CEO, Tim Cook stated that their teams are working hard on some amazing hardware, software and services which will be unveiled in the coming year. This information has enhanced this speculations of an expectation of a new iPad Mini from Apple.

The new upcoming iPad Mini 2 is likely to have some of these features listed below:

• Apple A7 chipset (which is present in iPhone 5S) with fingerprint sensor
• 1.3GHz dual-core processor,
• PowerVR GPU Series 6
• 1GB of RAM
• 128GB storage
• 7.9in screen with a resolution of 2,048×1,536

The price may change or be at the same price with the current iPad Mini which starts from £239. The new iPad Mini 2 is likely to have a similar colour to that of iPhone 5S, Space Grey, silver and Gold.
