It has been announced that yet another technology day event will be held in Edo state, Thursday 12th and Friday 13th of September 2013.
This forum which has been on since 2010 brings together a galaxy of IT Consultants, Vendors, Solution experts, policy makers, industry players, technology experts, innovators and investors from the international community to analyse, diagnose and profer solutions to IT challenges.
It also served as a forum for exploring opportunities and strategies for the utilization of technology and charting the way forward on how best to mainstream technology in governance and its development process.
Edo state Technology day has been tagged “Fostering Governance with Technology”.
The keynote speaker, Honorable minister of Communication Technology of Nigeria, Omobola Johnson; the Chairman, Hakeem Belo-Osagie, Chairman of Etisalat Nigeria, and a host of others at the influential and intellectual ICT event.
CNBC Africa will cover the discussion sessions featuring technology experts and key players who will speak on four topics: ‘’Broadband Delivery and Management in Nigeria,” “Advancing Education with Technology,” Security implications of Big Data,” and “Actualising a workable National IT Policy.”
Microsoft, Oracle, Osun state, Ondo State, Cross Rivers state amongst others will be Exhibiting for that day.
The event starts Thursday 12th September from 9.00am at the Emporium, JBS Estate, Boundary Road, GRA, Benin City, Edo State.
