Samsung is here again with a new Galaxy tab 3 for kids, which was announced earlier in August. The device will be officially launched and available for sale by 10 November for $229.99 in the United States.
It’s a 7-inch android device with 1024 x 600 pixels with bright colours that attracts kids. It has a yellow and orange colour casing that protects the Tab from knocks and bumps.
The Galaxy Tab 3 for kids features include Android 3.1 Jelly Bean, with 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built in storage and a microSD card slot with support for up to 32GB cards.
The device also comes with Wi-Fi, it has a dual core processor with a front and rear cameras. A 1.3 megapixel front camera and 3 megapixel rear camera.
Adults can equally make use of this tab, it has a child friendly app store which has some educational apps and friendly games for kids. Parents are able to change the settings as they will, this helps restrict the kids on what they can do or access when with the Tab.
Pre-order can be made for the Galaxy tab 3 as from Nov 1.
