“In 2012 hair weave products imported from India & China peaked at $3.5 billion, surprisingly so, 2015 imports are already on pace to surpass those numbers. The Hair Weave Industry in the United States is still dominated by vendors from China, but there is still plenty of room for localized distributors to cash in and capture market share.”

Jacques went on to say that her company plans to deploy 200 hair weave distributors during the second half  of 2015 and feels very confident that  her brand AymaniHair.com can go toe to toe with vendors based out of China.

“ I have discovered that the point of hair weave sales is becoming less about the price, and more about quality & relationships. Hair weave consumers no longer trust the claims made on websites and now prefer to touch and feel the hair. This is the reason we have decided to put boots on the ground in communities all across America – which gives us an advantage over our overseas competitors.”

Since 2009 Aymani Hair has offered  Human Hair Weave products exclusively on their website but with the introduction of Direct Sales Distributors, they now plan capture even more of the hair weave market in 2015. Based out of New Orleans with distribution centers in in Houston and Birmingham, Aymani Hair is enjoying record sales numbers for the first quarter of this year, and on pace to post their best sale numbers ever.
